Harvey has displayed his acting skills again in a new concept music video which ties in with the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine.

The plot shows Harvey as he gets accidentally caught in the middle of a crossfire after finding a combat radio in the snow. He starts singing the lyrics into it until he realises that he’s being targeted by snipers.
It’s a sequel to Hunch Power’s debut video “Stop the World” which Vive Le Rock magazine premiered in 2022.

The song “Eye for an Eye” delves deep into the consequences of revenge and retaliation where things can quickly spiral out of control.

The lyrics are thought-provoking, posing a series of ethical dilemmas about War, revenge and public opinion. The chorus borrows Ghandi’s famous words about passive resistance which inspired Martin Luther King to preach the Philosophy of Nonviolence during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s.

The single is included in Harvey Springfield’s fifth solo album “Sick Sick World”, released on 27th October 2023.
