Join us in celebrating the BAFTAs week with the release of “Wrong Day to Die”, a single included in Harvey Springfield’s upcoming sixth album “Dark Sides”. The song was inspired by the soundtracks and song themes of the 007/James Bond films. This release includes an instrumental version on the B side.

“The first music I got into was soundtracks. My dad has always been a huge movie fan and as a kid I spent most winter weekends in front of the big screen, then humming the soundtracks on the way home and trying to figure out the notes on my tiny Casio PT-1 keyboard.

I wrote the first idea for this song when I was 20 y/o but it wasn’t until I recorded my fourth album four years ago that I realised how much it sounded like a Bond theme.”

The single releases on Sunday 18th February 2024 to coincide with the 77th BAFTAs ceremony. It will only be available as a digital download on Bandcamp.

Pre-order it during the week of the BAFTAs starting on Monday 12th February at at https://harveyspringfield.bandcamp.com/
